Ashtree Honeybee

Southern California native with a wild wolf heart. I feel most alive in the garden, cooking up delicious meals in the kitchen, or in bed with a good book and my man bear. Explorer of the mind, adventurer of the soul. I enjoy camera clicks, homemade goods, baby giggles, and open country.
*All photos by me, unless otherwise noted.

hello friends. it’s been awhile, but life has me too busy to slow down and keep up with the blogging world. full-time work and school are enough to keep my daylight hours on a strict schedule. the addition of a garden and rats (above is a picture of some goodies i’ve made for their cage, below are some goodies from the yard), not to mention a home to keep up with has me up to my ears in to-do lists. this is how i thrive and function best though, and as time passes i am learning to process the emotional ups and downs that often come with being overwhelmed by the volume of activity and responsibility i’m handling at once.
growing up seems to happen in bursts and for me this year has been a bright firework in the sky.
