Happy 2012!

I had the most mellow new year’s eve to date, left a neighbor’s party early in order to witness the stroke of midnight from the comfort of my own front porch. Scott and I were in bed by 12:30, it was fantastic!

Only three days into the new year and already I am experiencing growth at my job with TakeLessons, in my personal relationships, and most importantly, in the garden! That’s me with some bok choy, red romaine lettuce, and spinach I just harvested. Now I’m enjoying a beautiful sunset over the San Diego skyline, plotting what to fix up for dinner, and constantly being pulled away from writing this by the cat playing at my feet.  

I’ve been stalking Ashley English for the past few months now, and was so inspired by her new “What I’m Digging” updates, highlighting her interests in the world and on the web each week, I thought I’d give it a try myself! I hope your new year is off to a great start, and wherever you are, keep on growing.
